It’s been a while since I last posted, but the world kept spinning. A flash storm passed my house and blew up my laptop that I use to work on. I frantically bought another one only to get home and realize it had vista on it. Weeks later, I haven’t been able to remove the vista but I have learned how to make make some pretty tasty grilled cheese sandwiches on the lid of my new HP.
I wont be blogging about the “pool story” or about Professor Gates because my gramma always said, if you don’t have anything nice to say… well you know the rest. And I don’t, have anything nice to say, that is. And I can’t mention the subjects to anyone without going completely off my rocker, screaming at the top of my lungs.
I was gonna write about Michael Jackson but I’m still waiting for his resurrection. In between working, I’ve been watching a lot of videos and listening to a lot of music, but I know if I post my perfect 10 again, I have to hear from my brother-in-law. So what does a blogger blog about when they’re too pissed to blog about “the conspiracy”?
54 year old author E. Lynn Harris died yesterday while on tour, promoting his 11th novel, “Basketball Jones”, which involved an NBA player and his gay lover. Harris was an openly gay American author, best known for his depictions of African American men on the down-low or in the closet.
I’ve never read any of his books, but when I saw his picture, my first thought was, what a nice smile. He looked like a happy man.
Look at that smile. I want to be that happy. I’ll be mad another day about things I cannot change, but today I want to be a little more grateful for what I have and advise you all to do the same.
